Mark Ramsay has accepted our invitation to direct the massed choir. He’ll be flying from Toronto - a conductor imported from away! Some of the music Mark chooses might include a few favourites from past years. The contract with The Pines has been signed, so you can make your reservations any time now. However, since our schedule has been revised, in response to your Evaluation comments, to present the concert at 4:00, some of you might prefer to drive home Sunday instead of staying for supper and the Afterglow (and subsequent overnight). Although that would save you $$$ and give you all day Monday at home, you’d miss what I think is one of the best parts of the weekend: that impromptu party with lots more singing & laughter. Our guestrooms offer one queen, one king, two twin beds, or one queen and a twin. The majority of our Cottage bedrooms have one queen and a twin bed in each room. All guestrooms offer personal amenities; hair dryers, cable TV, coffee makers, iron/iron board, clock radio and direct dial telephones. All 2 bedroom cottages offer private guest rooms with individual keys, hardwood floors, private baths, air-conditioning, shared living room with a fireplace, mini fridge, and each cottage features a covered verandah with patio chairs. Internet is available complimentary in our Lobby Area and in all meeting rooms. Parking is complimentary, with areas located in the main parking lot, in front of the hotel and driveways for all of the cottages. Check-In/Check-Out Time: The resort’s check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Room assignments prior to that time are on an availability basis only. The resort’s checkout time is 11:00 a.m. Guest rooms will not be ready prior to 3:00 pm on Friday. Reservations: Reservations must be made directly with the resort by calling the Resort toll free at 1-800-668-4637. Please have delegates identify themselves as attending High C's event to ensure they receive the preferred guestroom rate. All reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card, or one night’s deposit. The resort will not hold any reservations unless they have been guaranteed by one of these methods. Please be advised that our Cancellation Policy for Guestroom Reservations is 72 hours prior to the guests’ date of arrival. All rooms cancelled within 72 hours of arrival will be charged one-night accommodation to the form of payment that the reservation is guaranteed by. Food & Beverage: Well known for our foods , especially Digby Scallops , our talented Executive Chef, Dale Nichols treats our guests to imaginative dishes and personalized attention. Our dedicated culinary team blends unique flavors, presenting comfort-style food with a fresh and innovative twist 15% discount on Food purchases will be offered at both Churchill’s Restaurant (special menu to be advised) and 19th Hole outlets. Breakfast Buffet available in our restaurant daily from 7 – 10 am. Chef will also provide a special in Churchill’s for lunch on Saturday. We have a limit of 190 choristers.
